Today’s tip is to set at least one day per week on your calendar when you don’t spend one dollar.

The point of placing it on your calendar is to make it a consistent system, something that you do at that time, instead of having to remember to do it.  The point of having it be only one day a week is that it’s only a limited “fast” — it’s easier to do, and you can get the experience of doing it, and look at having done it and know it wasn’t as hard as you thought it would be.
